2020 Sea Shell Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon Bottle

Estate - Reserve. Opaque ruby. Smoky, oak-accented aromas of ripe cherry, cassis and pipe tobacco; with a peppery nuance adds spicy lift. Sappy and energetic in the mouth, offering sweet dark berry and floral pastille flavors that show very good clarity and supple texture. The cherry and floral notes repeat on the clinging finish, which is framed by smooth, well-knit tannins. With the amount of Cabernet grown by the Sea Shell Estate, it was only a matter of time before we made a pure Cabernet from our favorite section. Coming off the oldest vines on the estate, this Reserve wine offers powerful aromas of cassis, dark cherries, and tobacco. As the wine warms on your palate, it evolves further enticing characters of cedar, fresh-cut vanilla bean and even a subtle note of petrichor!! This wine has most structure and heft out of the 2016 lineup, and generously offers elegant, fine-grained tannins throughout the course of its finish.
